The 1953 Topps Baseball set is one of the most sought-after releases in the hobby, consisting of some key player cards including Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Jackie Robinson, and more.
The 274-card sophomore release from Topps features recognizable artist depictions of the athletes with a single bottom corner caption area that includes the players' names and positions plus the team logo. Overall, it is one of the most eye-appealing sets that Topps ever released.
Other Hall of Famers included in the set are Roy Campanella, Bob Feller, Pee Wee Reese, Satchell Paige, Warren Spahn, and Early Wynn to name a few.
The cards in this set remain in GD-VG condition with a few standout examples. #82 Mickey Mantle has been graded PSA GD 2 and #244 Willie Mays has been graded PSA PR 1.
