Attractive 1953 NBA A-Star Game brass humidor given away to participants in the contest. In the game the West defeated the East 79 to 75 with Minneapolis Lakers center George Mikan scoring 22 points to capture the Most Valuable Player Award. Engraved on top of lid handle is "NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSN. ANNUAL ALL STAR GAME JANUARY 13 1953 FORT WAYNE IND." "L. E. MASON CO. BOSTON MASS." stamped on bottom. Humidor is 5 1/4" in diameter and about 5" tall. Interesting piece of early NBA history!
