1953 labeling period Joe DeMaestri Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger Professional Signature Model 015 bat game used by the 11 year veteran shortstop. DeMaestri had a decent year with the Philadelphia Athletics after coming over from the St. Louis Browns in 1953 hitting .255 with 6 HR and 35 RBI in 114 games. "S10" stamped into top of knob. White tape still present on most of the handle. Bat is uncracked and displays very heavy game use with numerous cleat ball and bat rack marks to the barrel. Ash bat is 34" long and weighs 32.4 ounces.
