This 1948 Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed Official National League (Frick) baseball captures one of the most transformative rosters in the history of the game. The signatures include both Jackie Robinson and Roy Campanella — two pioneers who helped break baseball's color barrier and went on to Hall of Fame careers. Robinson, in just his second Major League season, was already establishing himself as one of the game's premier players, while Campanella was making his Brooklyn debut. Manager Leo Durocher's signature was deemed clubhouse.
The ball also features the signature of Hall of Fame umpire Jocko Conlan. Team-signed baseballs from the late 1940s Dodgers are always in high demand given the historic significance of the integration era, and examples featuring both Jackie and Campy are particularly prized. Accompanied by a full PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity. A cornerstone piece for collectors of Dodgers and civil rights history.
