Awesome 1948 Bowman Basketball uncut sheet picturing 28 of the 36 rare high number series including the legendary George Mikan Rookie card. Sheet is almost full production with only the red color process missing resulting in some of the cards having "gray" backgrounds. Featured on the sheet are #38-44 47-53 56-62 and 65-71. Included in this group are #38 Buddy Jeanette(HOF) 48 Ed Sadowski 52 Connie Simmons 58 Arnie Risen(HOF) 66 Jim Pollard(HOF) 69 George Mikan(HOF) and 6 Play cards. The sheet itself is in very nice overall condition with a 6 1/2" crease running horizontally from the left center edge and a pair of light creases running 5 1/2" and 2 1/2" the same way from the bottom left edge. The Mikan card itself appears to be in absolutely perfect condition with no visible problems whatsoever. There is a small water stain at the back bottom of the Pollard card. Sheet has been framed to a size of 16 1/2" by 21" using glass so that both the front and backs of cards are visible. Tremendous display piece with incredible visual eye appeal!
