Graded SGC 30 GOOD 2. This low grade high demand and rare copy of Lou Gehrig from the 1946 Propagandas Montiel set features a strong sepia toned image of the iron horse. This unique Cuban set was issued with Propagandas Montiel Caramel and featured major leaguers from old times and previous generations as well as players from the Florida international League a handful of Cuban players some wrestlers and boxers of the past and present. This particular copy has a few condition issues of note including the completely missing right border some corner and edge wear as well as some creasing and toning found throughout the front and reverse. Despite these issues this is still a very presentable copy of Gehrig from the unusual Cuban card series and is a worthy addition to any serious vintage collection.
