1) The 1943 All-Star Game was held July 13 at Shibe Park in Philadelphia home of the Philadelphia Athletics. The American League won 5-3 behind Bobby Doerr's 3 run home run in the 2nd inning of the first game played at night. Pin has player batting on ball at the center of a baseball diamond with the words "All Star Game" and "Press" surrounding. Numbers "1 9 4and 3" are in the corners. Pin in very nice overall condition with an actual "safety" pin back.
2) The 1952 All-Star Game was held July 8 at Shibe Park in Philadelphia home of the Philadelphia Phillies. The National League triumphed 3-2 behind Hank Sauer's 2 run home run in the bottom of the 4th of a game called due to rain after 5 innings. "Press" above Liberty Bell with "Phillies 1952 All Star Game" written on the front. Pin in great overall condition. "Martin" stamped on lower back.
3) The 1976 All-Star Game was held July 13 at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia home of the Philadelphia Phillies. The National League dominated the American 7-1 winning for the 5th time in a row. Pin features "Philadelphia atop stylized bell with "76" for bottom edge and Liberty Bell hanging below with "All Star Game Philadelphia" and an image of Veterans Stadium on the front. Pin in beautiful condition.
