OAL(Harridge) BB signed by 17 members of the two 1936 Berlin Olympics United States Baseball teams that played an exhibition game on August 12th 1936 in front of 90000 spectators in Berlin's Olympic Stadium. Signatures are: World Champions players - Dan Wilson Jimmy Eddowes Les McNeese Ron Hibbard Bill Sayles Carson Thompson. U. S. Olympic Team Roster - Grover Galvin R. N. Carlsten Hubert Shaw Tex Fore Clarence Keegan Dick Hanna Fred Heringer Charles Simmons. Paul Aames Dot Whalen and Harry Wolters have also signed the baseball. Very readable 7/10 overall black ink signatures on a clean whitish baseball. Someone has written "Olympic Games Berlin Germany "1936" and "15/8/36" on a side panel in the same ink. Possibly a one of a kind item from the 1936 American baseball teams who played an exhibition game at the 1936 Olympics. Also included is a stand/trophy for holding the baseball consisting of 3 bats atop a 5 1/2" in diameter plastic base. Small plaque on front reads "U. S. A. OLYMPIC TEAM GERMANY 1936". Bats do have some tarnish. For the record the World Champions won the game 7-6 on a walk-off solo home run by Les McNeese in the bottom of the seventh to end the game.

PSA/DNA looked at the baseball and came back with an "inconclusive" opinion due to no exemplars in their data base.
