1935 William "Big Bill" Tilden Spalding Top-Flite tennis racket match used and signed by the International Tennis Hall of Fame member long considered as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Tilden was the No. 1 ranked player in the world for seven years. Over his career he won 14 Major singles titles(10 Grand Slams 1 World Hard Court Championship and 3 Pro Slams). He also won a record seven US Championships titles. Tilden has signed the rack on the side in about 3-4/10 looking vintage black ink. Racket displays heavy use with several breaks in string and wear to handle. Racket still in very nice condition.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Helms Athletic Foundation/LA84 Collection.
Autograph is pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
