Collector grade offering of the toughest Ruth card in the 1933 Goudey issue. This 1933 Goudey #53 Babe Ruth graded PSA POOR 1 features good image quality. Corner wear, light creasing, and paper loss to the right of Bambino's chin, but does not significantly affect the iconic image of the Sultan of Swat. 30/70 centering left to right, close to 50/50 top to bottom. Clean back. As a bonus, this card comes from the personal collection of former big league pitcher Fred Frankhouse (card #131 in '33 Goudey!) who played 13 MLB seasons (1927-39), the majority of which was spent with the Boston Braves where he was an All-Star in 1934.
