This is an extremely high-end example of the more difficult to find of the two Lou Gehrig cards in the 1933 Goudey series. Fantastic eye appeal is primarily attributed to rich coloration superb registration and razor sharp corners. Gehrig's at-bat image (courtesy of Charles Conlon) is portrayed against a flawless blemish-free blue background. Whispers of wear can be seen only under magnification at the absolute tips of the corners but all four display sharply pointed to the naked eye. The reverse is well-centered and very clean. A satisfying example in enviable PSA NM-MT 8 condition. This is one of only fourteen examples graded at this level by PSA with just four graded higher.
