Offered here is Babe Ruth's #144 card from the iconic 1933 Goudey set. Recently graded VG-EX 4 by PSA, it presents beautifully with bright colors, bold print (front & back), evenly straight edges, and a smooth surface that's squeeky clean. Centering and corner wear seem to be all that prevent this lovely example from breaking away from its mid-grade designation. Simply gorgeous eye appeal overall! This card along with Ruth's other three '33 Goudey issues listed in lots 48, 50 & 51 all come from our consignor's personal collection passed down from his father who got them straight from their original gum packs in the 1930's.
