The 1932 World Series wasn't much of a contest. New York steamrolled the Chicago Cubs scoring 37 runs during a four game sweep. The series was one of the most bitter in history and is best remembered for Babe Ruth's infamous "Called Shot" during Game 3 at Wrigley Field. Presented here is a nicely preserved and very complete example of one of the more coveted Yankees team signed baseballs from the Ruth/Gehrig era. The blue and red stitched OAL (Harridge) ball has been signed by 30 plus Yankees with Ruth on the sweet spot and Gehrig on the east panel. Manger Joe McCarthy has signed over the Harridge facsimile signature. Other Yankees who have signed the sphere include Sewell Dickey Pennock Combs and Chapman. The ball is only moderately toned with a 1932 notation written in on it an unknown hand. Signatures range from 5-8 out of 10 with Ruth and Gehrig among the strongest.

Includes a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
