Outstanding original 14" by 19" black and white photo taken at the 1932 World Series featuring Babe Ruth Joe McCarthy John McGraw Charlie Grimm Nick Altrock and Christy Walsh. 1932 will forever be remembered for Babe Ruth's "Called Shot" home run in Game 3. It was also the last World Series that he would ever appear in. Crystal clear image of all 6 standing in front of the grandstand. Hand painted white lettering has been added at the top to read "YANKEES vs. CUBS - WORLD SERIES 1932. The last names of each is in black below their image. Small 5/8" in diameter very light semi-circular stain near Grimm's name and small piece of dirt(?) above Grimm's left shoulder. Incredible picture image! Awesome piece once hung in the office of famed baseball agent Christy Walsh and is still in it's original vintage 15 1/8" by 20 1/4" black frame from that period.
