Offered here is an important grouping of items from the famed 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles which were held in the middle of the worldwide Great Depression with many nations and athletes unable to pay for the trip to Los Angeles. Fewer than half the participants of the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam returned to compete in 1932. Even U.S. President Herbert Hoover skipped the event.

This is a striking array of (10) items from those historic games all nicely preserved and in highly collectible and uniform condition. All are in basically as-issued and problem-free condition with any exceptions noted. Lineup includes: a 1 ½-inch in diameter gymnastics participation medal and a smaller souvenir coin with an Olympic figural and 1932 Olympics and Los Angeles engraved on each; 5 ½-inch in diameter Coca-Cola advertising wheel that can turn to reveal dates and times of events (presents Ex-Mt with couple of tiny pencil notations on back); (4) four tickets including a season press pass (5 ¾-by-3 ½ inches) (2) two 5 ½-by-2 ½-inch pristine tickets for swimming gymnastics and a smaller (2 ½-by-2-inch) child ticket for track & field first three are basically Nr-Mt with punch holes on two of the three and the childs ticket presents Good but has tape residue on two sides plus all four have tiny pencil notations on back that are visible only upon diligent inspection; a 7-inch-square parking pass (Ex-Mt); 5 ½-by-8 ½-inch 4-page souvenir program from Pre-Olympic Swimming and Diving (presents Ex-Mt with small pencil mark on one page); four-page 6-by-8-inch Public Dedication souvenir program for the Los Angeles Swimming Stadium in April of that year (presents Ex-Mt with a couple of small tears).
