When one lists of the most successful and influential golfers in history, the name Bobby Jones is always at or near the top. An amateur his entire career, Jones won the U.S. Open four times, the British Open three times, and the Masters Tournament once. He also designed several influential courses, including Augusta National, and co-founded the Masters Tournament. This beautiful image of Jones dates to 1931 and captures the golf legend’s intensity as he tees off. The wonderfully warm sepia image has remarkedly sharp detail and superb contrast. Certainly one of the finer photographs of one of golf’s greatest champions. The Type 1 photo has been printed to its edge. A credit mark is found in the lower right hand corner and the reverse is blank. Encapsulated Type 1 by PSA/DNA.
