During the 1930s football was gaining momentum and the name Glenn S. Pop Warner was commanding respect at all levels of the game. This lot includes a 1930s era white Spalding J5-V football that been signed in black and blue ink by dozens of former gridiron standouts including Warner Sammy Baugh Andy Farkas Jim Barber Lloyd Nolan and Ray Flaherty. Several of the signatures have faded quite a bit but many remain intact.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Helms Athletic Foundation/LA84 Collection.
