Awesome group of 26 vintage black & white photos mounted in a vintage photograph album showing members of the 1930 Rose Bowl Champion University of Southern California Trojans. 24 players and coaches have signed 23 of the photos all in overall 9/10 vintage blue steel tip pen ink. Crystal clear photos feature players in posed and action photos probably shot during practice. Autographs are: Howard Jones/Cliff Herd Frank Anthony Marger Apsit Garrett Arbelbide John Baker Nathan Barragar George Dye Harry Edelson Clark Galloway Bob Hall Cecil Hoff Jess Hill Anthony Jurich Jesse Mortensen Don Moss Jim Musick Erny Pinckert Russ Saunders Gaius Shaver Jesse Shaw Francis Tappaan Ralph Wilcox and Stanley Williamson. In the 1930 Rose Bowl Howard Jones first trip to the big game USC crushed the previously unbeaten Pittsburgh panthers 47-14 with an all-out passing attack. Photos themselves are in beautiful condition like the day they were placed in held into the album by photo corners and not glued. Most of the photos are 3 1/2" by 4 1/2" with a few 4" by 6" including a posed team photo. Incredible piece of USA football history!
