Interesting Spalding from 1929 given to Hall of Fame New York Giants manager John McGraw from the "Loyal Giants Rooters' at a dinner in April of 1929. Stamped on the barrel is "LOYAL GIANTS ROOTERS DINNER TO JOHN J. MCGRAW AND THE 1929 GIANTS NEW YORK APRIL 14TH 1929". Looks as though the stamping was colored in black at one time but most has worn off over the years. Spalding trademark stamped on top of knob. Bat actually looks as if it were used sometime/somewhere. On back of barrel away from the stamping are 4 nail holes one with nail still present. Not sure why this was done as bat in not cracked. Great memento from one of the greatest managers in baseball history.
