Vintage red and blue stitched OAL (Barnard) baseball single signed on the side panel by Detroit Tiger Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. Cobb has signed in about black steel-tip fountain pen which has faded to about a 3/10 rating. Cobb's date notation "1928" below his signature adds special interest to this ball as it pinpoints it to his last season as a professional baseball player. Ball itself has evenly toned/darkened over time with scattered surface abrasions.
