Awesome looking pair of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig signatures on the inside page of a Spalding Official Score Book in perfect 9-10/10 looking pencil. Both signed sometime on the morning of October 25 1927 when the Busting Babes and Larruping Lous played an exhibition game before 3000 fans in the small town of Marysville California. Looking at the box score from inside the score book kept that day you can see that Babe's team beat Lou's team by a score of 9 to 7 with both Gehrig and Ruth hitting home runs. Covers of score book still in tack but inside pages have separated from spine and are held in place by tape. Inside pages in great shape with the box score from that game at center and well protected. Awesome piece of baseball history dated directly to October 25 1927.
Includes an August 19 1973 article about that exhibition game which mentions how the official scorer had his score book signed by Ruth that day.
