Colorful GD PSA 2 Full unused ticket to the deciding Game 7 if the 1926 World Series betwen the St.Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees played at Yankee Stadium in New York on October 10th 1926. In a game featuring 4 future Hall of Fame pitchers Jesse Haines defeated Waite Hoyt 3-2. Grover Cleveland Alexander who had thrown a complete game to beat the Yankees just the day before saved the game for the Cardinals when he struck out Tony Lazzeri with 2 out and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th. He closed out the game with 2 additional scoreless innings. Herb Pennock pitched 3 scoreless innings of relief for the Yankees. Several smaller creases and very heavy wear to the perforation are the reason for the GD rating. Ticket still retains good eye appeal. The only GD PSA 2 with just one VG-EX 4 rated higher.
