Offered here is a nice 1924 Paris Summer Olympics participation medal. Made of bronze. Mintedby Paris Mint. Designed by Raoul Bénard. 55 mm in diameter; 4 mm thick;76 grams. Obverse has a city view of Paris over French legend in three lineswith "VIII OLYMPIADE PARIS 1924" in raised lettering. Reverse shows NikeGoddess of Victory with laurel wreaths crowning victorious athletes. Designer's name stamped at bottom edge. Presents in NM condition and comes with original presentation case lined with red velvet.
