Great looking 1920 American Olympic Committee Official Report of the Games of the Seventh Olympiad details every possible thing concerning the Antwerp games. The United State dominated the 1920 Games winning 41 Gold 27 Silver and 27 Bronze for a total of 95 31 more than runner up Sweden. The legendary Hawaiian Duke Kahanamoku won the 100 meter swimming competition for the USA. The first games in 8 years due to the cancellation of the 1916 games due to World War I saw Germany Austria Turkey Hungary and Bulgaria all banned from competition. Over 450 page long publication is loaded with photos of venues events athletes action shots etc. The publication details every possible fact concerning the 1920 Games - planning venues finances ticket prices events competitors as well as complete final results of every competition. Detailed articles talk about the history of both the ancient and modern Olympic Games. Book itself is clean in beautiful NM looking condition. Book measures about 6 1/8" by 9 1/4". Outstanding piece of Olympic History!
