GD PSA 2 ticket stub to Game 1 of the 1912 World Series between the Boston Red Sox and New York Giants played at the Polo Grounds in New York City on Oct. 8 1912. Smokey Joe Wood stuck out 11 in the first of his 3 victories in the Series as the Red Sox downed the Giants 4-3. The Red Sox would go on to win the World Championship in 8 games(Game 2 ended in a 6-6 tie). Stub very clean both front and back. Some creasing but nothing that disrupts any of the front surface paper. Definitely displays better than the given technical grade. The highest graded stub and 1 of only 4 tickets total to Game 1.
