PSA AUTHENTIC Full Ticket to Games 1 3 and 5 of the 1911 World Series between the Philadelphia Athletics and New York Giants played on October 14 17 and 25 at the Polo Grounds in New York City. Game 1 saw Hall of Fame pitcher Christy Mathewson defeat fellow Hall of Famer Chief Bender 2-1. Game 3 saw Jack Coombs and Mathewson both go 11 innings as the Athletics prevailed 3-2. Game 5 saw the Giants tie it with 2 runs in the bottom before winning the game 4-3 in the 10th. The Phillies held on to take the Series 4 games to 2.Ticket has some soiling with an extremely heavy crease vertically down the center. Games 1 and 2 have been cancelled with punch holes. Still retains bright color and good graphics.
