This lot groups eight SGC-graded cards from the 1909-11 T206 set, all Sweet Caporal-backed commons. Included are Emil Batch of Rochester (SGC 1 PR), Lou Ritter of Kansas City (SGC 2.5 GD+), Frank Smith's "Chicago, White Cap" variation (SGC 1.5 FR), Bob Bescher's "Hands in Air" pose (SGC 1 PR), Dick Egan of Cincinnati (SGC 1 PR), Bill Chappelle of Rochester (SGC 1 PR), and two examples of Red Ames's "Hands Above Head" pose (SGC 3.5 VG+ and SGC 3 VG), the strongest condition in the lot.

 

The cards span the full range of T206 background styles, from solid color fields to Bescher's bright yellow diamond setting. Each reverse carries a red Sweet Caporal Cigarettes advertising back, with varying factory and district numbers visible across the group. Overall condition runs from poor to very good, consistent with the assigned grades. A solid lot for collectors building the iconic T206 set.
