Rare athlete participation badge from the 1906 Intercalated Olympic Games held in Athens. Also known as the 1906 Intermediate Games these games were very successful as they were not stretched out over several months or interrupted by a World’s Fair. At the time they were considered Olympic Games and called the "Second International Olympic Games in Athens" by the International Olympic Committee.
The circular badge is 36 mm in diameter enameled in blue and white with gold plating. The pin back is intact. Presents NM outstanding shape for its age.
