On December 6 2013 the University of Kentucky men's basketball team squared off against Baylor University on a neutral court at AT&T Stadium in Arlington TX. In a hard-fought battle the No. 20 ranked Bears knocked off the 3rd ranked Wildcats by the score of 67-62. Julius Randle one of UK’s star freshmen led Big Blue with 16 points and 8 rebounds plus four assists. This lot features Rande’s game-worn jersey from that special SEC/Big 12 Challenge game. The rare blue style featuring shiny silver letters and numbers plus a checkered pattern down the sides was worn just this one game during the 2013-14 season. Seeded #8 in the NCAA tournament Kentucky advanced to the National Championship but ultimately fell to #7 seeded UCONN. In his lone college season the 6’ 9” power forward from Dallas Tex. averaged 15 points and 10.4 boards. He was selected 7th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers with whom he continues to make great strides each season.

The size 50 blue jersey made of 100% recycled polyester sports the proper "NIKE ELITE" manufacturer's tagging on the front left tail with both "2013-14" and "LENGTH +6" flap tags. The shirt features "KENTUCKY" across the chest with his uniform number "30" front and back. The Nike as well as the "UK" and "SEC" logos also adorn the front. His last name "RANDLE” is sewn across the upper back in white tackle twill with eight white stars just above to denote the program’s eight NCAA titles in basketball. The jersey shows moderate game use and comes from the personal collection of a UK alum with close ties to the program. A great piece to commemorate one of Coach John Calipari’s great “One-and-Done” prodigies.
