Fred Beasley was your typical bruising fullback during his 1998-2005 tenure with the San Francisco 49ers. Fan favorites Tom Rathman and William Floyd each played the fullback position in the West Coast offense to perfection so it was a tough act to follow. But Beasley made his mark earning 2nd Team All-Pro honors in 2002 and '03 and starting in the '03 Pro Bowl. For a 2-3 year stretch the former Auburn Tiger was widely considered the NFL's best blocking back as he opened up gaping holes that halfback Garrison Hearst often turned into big gainers. He did the dirty work while the skilled positions got the credit. That's the life of living in the trenches on the gridiron. Presented here is a rare opportunity to own a 2002 49ers game-worn home uniform ensemble (everything but the helmet) from one of the league's most punishing fullbacks. The NFL and PSA/DNA database confirms its use in at least two games: Dec. 8 at Dallas and Dec. 15 vs. Green Bay. Beasley has inscribed the date of the 10/15/2002 Packers game on the back of the jersey adding to its impeccable credibility.

First we have Beasley's 49ers home red #40 Reebok mesh jersey beaten with game-use. All letters and numbers come in white on gold & black tackle twill the numbers in shadowbox design. The sleeves have been hemmed and customized with elastic to the player's liking and there are dozens of green paint transfers on the biceps and shoulders from would-be tacklers. The tagging is no longer present but the NFL & PSA/DNA sticker (N70249) behind the collar covers that. So does the back where Beasley has signed on the '4' with his No. "40" inscribed and "12/15/02 vs. Green Bay Packers" in bold black Sharpie. Soiling and contact marks are all over this baby most visibly on the white numbers and letters front and back. The matching home gold pants come in a size 30 and have Beasley's No. "40" marked inside the waistline. The original gold belt and crotch laces are intact. The Reebok manufacturer's tagging is inside the crotch area with size "30" "XS" and "02" flag tags. Guess Fred liked his pants extra tight. Lots of fraying on the seams and plenty of stretching in the Nylon/Spandex material. The pants are the only unsigned piece of this set. The jersey and pants smell like a locker room.

Next we have Beasley's Nike screw-in cleats in white and red. They are made of leather and a sail-like material on the sides. There are still some mud and dirt remains on the bottom and sides so these saw plenty of game action. Original laces intact. Same autograph and signature combination as the jersey on the front. And finally we come to his game-worn Nike leather Velcro gloves in a red black and gray color scheme with the NFL Equipment patch on top. They show plenty of sweat stains and wear. NFL & PSA/DNA sticker (N70252) found inside left glove. Beasley has signed and inscribed each glove on the palm exactly like the jersey & cleats. It's not everyday you can find a near complete game-used ensemble with dated PSA/DNA authenticity and impeccable game notation from an NFL player especially a contact-loving beast like Fred Beasley!

Includes NFL COA cards (N70249 & N70250 in PSA/DNA database) which verify game-use of jersey on 10/8/02 at Dallas Cowboys and 10/15/02 vs. Green Bay.

Autographs & inscriptions pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
