Featured here is Kyrie Irving’s Cleveland Cavaliers game-worn and autographed throwback jersey from December 10 2016 against the Charlotte Hornets. The 6’ 3” star point guard sported this bright orange retro gamer in a 116-105 victory contributing 11 points and five assists for the defending champs. The jersey is photo-matched by the experts at Resolution Photomatchingand comes directly from an anonymous but very reliable NBA source whoattests to Irving signing it in person after the game.
For the season Irving averaged a career-high 25.2 points to go alongwith 5.8 dimes and earned his fourth All-Star appearance. Coming off their jubilant championship season that ended a half-century of misery for Cleveland sports fans the Cavaliers had an up and down regular season as they finished 51-31 to claim second place in the Eastern Conference. The team has really come together in the postseason winning 12 of 13playoff games including two sweeps. And now it's time for the Cavs-Dubstrilogy.
The orange mesh jersey has a 1980’s retro “CAVS” logo on the front with Irving’s No. “2” front and back in white with blue shadow. “IRVING” is sewn directly onto the upper back in white tackle twill with the embroidered NBA logo patch sewn above. The arms and neck are trimmed with white and blue elastic. Shirt has appropriate “Adidas climacool Size XL” tagging on the front left tail with a LENGTH +2" flap tag. Adjacent is the NBA Authentication tag with a “CCA07013” code. A third NBA tag labeled “HWC NIGHTS” [Hardwood Classic] is sewn just above to denote a Cavs’ throwback jersey. Inside the left inseam is the washing instructions and "07/16" manufacturing date tag. Irving has signed the reverse number in 9/10 black marker. The jersey displays moderate wear with light fraying and can be photo-matched to Getty 628979456. What a rare throwback beauty from “Uncle Drew” — the most clutch player on his team and arguably the best one-on-one offensive force in the NBA.
