LeBron James has long been considered one of the greatest players of his generation. His incredible feats on a nightly basis have become the norm, smashing numerous records season after season. LeBron led his Lakers to the NBA title at the conclusion of the 2019-20 NBA season, the year he wore this Statement Edition Jersey.
He donned the Lakers purple threads on November 3, 2019 against the Spurs in San Antonio. James generated his second consecutive triple double with 21 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds in the Lakers victory.
The purple Nike Statement Edition jersey has the iconic "LAKERS" lettering sewn on the chest above James' number "23." The Nike logo is on the right shoulder and the Wish logo on the left. White and gold trim rings the neck and arm openings, and accompany black stripes down the sides of the jersey. The lower left front tail has the size 52 Nike/NBA label and an individual serial number label sewn adjacent. The back has “JAMES” and his number “23” in individually sewn characters. The jersey shows great game use with some light toning and loose threads on the graphics. The jersey is registered into the NBA and MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number LALW03384. This jersey has been fully photo matched by both MeiGray and Sports Investors Authentication.
