Here is an impressive battle-worn home gamer from the great Takeo Spikes one of only seven linebackers to achieve more than 200 career starts with the NFL. Only once did Spikes record fewer than 70 tackles in a season. He has been team captain 13 out of his 15 seasons of play. A two-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time All-Pro Spikes also played for the Buffalo Bills Philadelphia Eagles San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers. The game wear on this garment is about as spectacular as the career of the man who wore it. Takeo's No. 51 appears at the front of the shirt in white tackle twill the same fashion for the back and shoulders. Spikes appears across the back in white tackle twill on a red nameplate. Shirt has custom elastic sleeves and spandex side panels with embroidered patches left to right across the front denoting his captaincy the NFL shield logo and "International Series" along with the embroidered 49ers logo above the number on front. Shoulders have white vinyl stripes. The shirt has the Reebok label on the front left tail with flag tags of "46" and "10." A strip tag with "10-46" appears at the back of the collar and there is a washing instructions tag inside the front tail. Game wear is abundant to splendiferous with paint transfers galore on the numbers most notably on the back. Includes NFL COA (cert N70690 in PSA/DNA database).
