Tom Presthus played 7 seasons of Major League Soccer 4 with D.C. United and 3 with Columbus Crew. This lot is a full set of goalie uniform and equipment worn by Presthus on 10/25/98 in a 0-2 loss to the Chigago Fire in the MLS Cup played at the Rose Bowl. The set includes Nike goalie gloves Adidas shin guards Adidas stockings Nike green and black soccer spikes Adidas powder blue and black soccer shorts and Adidas soccer jersey. The jersey has been signed by Pesthus on the front just below the D.C United emblem in black felt tip pen with "22" added below the signature. The MLS Cup 98 patch has been sewn onto the right sleeve.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
