As always Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was a one-man wrecking crew during the 2010 NFL season. The perennial rushing leader tallied 1298 yards and scored 12 TDs averaging 4.6 yards per carry. This home purple Vikings uniform (jersey pants and socks) was worn by Adrian Peterson on January 17 2010 in a home NFC Divisional Playoff Game vs the Dallas Cowboys. That day he recorded 63 yards on 26 carries to help the Vikings win 34-3. The Reebok jersey inside neck contains the "09-44 L" swatch tag indicating the year (season) size and cut. The tail and sleeves have been custom cut and hemmed. Peterson's number "28" is on front and back and both sleeves sewn in white tackle twill with gold outline. On back sewn on a purple name plate is "PETERSON" in white tackle twill. Jersey shows great use with ball marks paint transfers and grass stains throughout the jersey. Fraying is evident on many of the letters of his nameplate. Heavy game use. The pair of white Reebok custom-tailored pants also show plenty of game wear and includes the proper tags on the inside crotch flap (36-BIG BOY-SHORT) with Petersons full name spelled out in faded fine-point black marker. The socks appear relatively pristine by comparison.
