Pair of hockey sticks game used by Edmonton Oilers NHL Hall of Famers center Wayne Gretzky and defenseman Paul Coffey.
Wayne Gretzky autographed TITAN TPM 2020 ULTRAGLASS hockey stick game used by the NHL's All-Time leading scorer during his 9 year tenure with the Oilers. Gretzky has signed with a very faint "???? Xmas Wayne Gretzky" in 3/10 ink. "W. Gretzky" printed on one edge. "048808 1-002" printed on the other. Black tape covering the blade with "Jack the GRIPPER" cover on top of stick. Stick displays excellent game use.
Paul Coffey autographed SHER-WOOD Feather-Lite P.M.P. 5030 hockey stick dates from his 7 year career with the Oilers 2 of which he eared the Norris Trophy as the best defenseman in the League. Coffey has signed in 9/10 black felt tip pen "Paul Coffey 77 95". Based on the "95" the stick probably dates from the 1995 season while he played with the Red Wings. This would also be the year he won his 3rd Norris Trophy. "Handcrafted Exclusively for PAUL COFFEY 77" printed on the edge. White tape covering the blade. Black tape covering top 7 3/4 inches of stick. This Coffey stick is game ready with proper taping and evidence of black tape rubbing on the shaft for enhanced grip (a Coffey trait) but the blade shows minimal if any evidence of use.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
