The great quarterback is elegantly portrayed in this original oil-on-canvas painting by John W. Gaines IV who used bold strokes and a powerful layering in the background to represent the surrounding tumult and chaos of the football field. In a unique nuance the painting's distinctive color scheme neatly matches that of the 2 1/2-inch ornate wood frame creating a pleasing contrast to the captivating image of Moon in the middle of the piece. Truly an unusual interpretation of one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of professional football. All elements including the original canvas artwork and the intricate vintage frame appear to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition.
