Nice pair of items from Walter Johnson's unsuccessful 1940 bid for Congress.
1) Walter Johnson For Congress Pin - Beautiful pin shaped like a baseball. Front super clean with bright colors. Original pin back does have even rust on the inside back edges and center. Great looking piece!
2) Unused May 6 1940 Republican Primary Official Ballot - Johnson listed along with 3 other candidates. Super clean on both sides. One horizontal and one vertical fold at the center of top and side with small 1/2" tear at edge on each. Small1/2" tear at top right edge near corner.
