Hall of Fame pitcher Waite Hoyt's personal 1915 Erasmus High School Baseball Team Photo features a crystal clear image. The 15 year old Hoyt can be seen in the 2nd row the 4th player from the left hand side. On August 26 of that same year Hoyt would be signed by New York Giants manager John J. McGraw to a 3 year contract. At the time Hoyt was the youngest player ever to be signed to a major league contract. 9 1/2" by 7 1/2" photo is still glued to the original 12 1/2" by 10" white cardboard mount with onion skin paper covering. Onion skin paper has some creases near the bottom corners. Photo in perfect condition with a little corner wear to the bottom corners of the mount. Striking photo!
