A pioneer of early boxing in America John Sullivan won over 450 fights and was the last of the “Bare Knuckled” legends. This lot is for a rare John L. Sullivan Whiskey bottle with very scare intact original labels. On the bottle is a silhouette of Sullivan with label reading “John L. Blended Whiskey 90 Proof” a James Clark product with a State of Ohio liquor control seal. On reverse label is a recipe. Also the original black cap and both sides of US Ohio liquor control stamp are present. Overall bottle is in excellent condition.
