Honus Wagner has become a hobby icon through a combination of true greatness and mythical circumstance. Even to those unfamiliar with the history of our National Pastime, his name has come to symbolize unparalleled excellence. Any single signed Honus Wagner baseball is special. One of this caliber is simply extraordinary. This ONL (Giles) baseball bears the Flying Dutchman's bold black fountain pen signature perfectly placed on the side panel just flirting with the sweet spot. Signature rates a 7 out of 10 in our estimation. The ball displays some light toning throughout with only a few areas of minor imperfections. This ball originated from the iconic baseball memorabilia collection of Arthur Meyer as assembled in the period through his close association with numerous MLB players. Accompanied by a full LOA from JSA and letter of provenance reflecting the Meyer lineage.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
