- Bowler hat worn by USC Football Legend Gaius Shaver. Shaver played quarterback/running back for USC from 1929 through 1931. In 1931 he led the Trojans to the National Championship with a 10-1 record. Early in the season he ran for 2 touchdown in a 16-14 victory over Notre Dame at South Bend to end the Irish's 26 game unbeaten streak. Bowler hat in decent condition but there is a crack and small hole on the left front brim. Size 7 1/4.
- 11/30/1931 All-American Board of Football Christy Walsh letter telling Shaver he has been named to the All-American Football team for 1931. Near perfect 9/10 looking vintage blue steel tip pen ink Walsh signature.
