The presented Ty Cobb 1953-55 Artvue Black and White Hall of Fame plaque postcard is in NM condition featuring mild toning with sharp corners and no creases. The back of the postcard features an artistically scrolled Ty Cobb signature in green ink with his customary underscore that grades 9/10 in strength and clarity. Cobb dated the signature himself on 6/22/60. One of the five original Hall inductees Cobb passed away on 7/17/61 a little over one year later. As with any of the inaugural Hall of Fame inductees Cobb signed HOF postcards are highly coveted.
Comes with Lou Brissie family LOA. Encapsulated “Authentic” by PSA/DNA.
