Written on hotel letterhead from Scottsdale Az. on 3/23/60 Cobb writes "Dear Mr. Lengfelder Here is the ball only thing it was convenient to get a National League ball hope this doesn't make any difference. Make your check to Cobb Educational Foundation. I never accept any fees and that for 5 years all fees go to my Foundation. Thanks. I am Ty Cobb. (ps) The above address will get me for two or three weeks. Here convalescing." Cobb's trademark green ink writing and signature rate 9 out of 10. The letter shows typical fold lines and a small band of toning on the bottom front edge as a result of a piece of tape on the reverse. EX-MT condition on front with note to tape on back. Includes a full LOA from JSA . Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
