The San Francisco 49ers have won five Super Bowl titles. Three of the franchises Vince Lombardi trophies were secured following the 1988 89 and 94 seasons with Joe Montana behind center for the first two and Steve Young at quarterback for the last one. This lot includes three team-signed Wilson white panel footballs commemorating each of those glorious Super Bowl triumphs. The 1988 football christened in red lettering with the words SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS WORLD CHAMPIONS includes 48 signatures (rating 8-9/10) in green ink. Top autographs include Joe Montana Jerry Rice Roger Craig John Taylor Keena Turner and Steve Young. The second football commemorating the Niners 17-2 overall season in 1989 is an official Wilson Super Bowl XXIV white panel ball that boasts 57 signatures (8-9/10) in green ink including the likes of Joe Montana Jerry Rice Roger Craig John Taylor Tom Rathman Brent Jones Steve Young Steve Bono and Matt Millen. The third Wilson white panel ball from the 49ers 1994 season (their last Super Bowl champion squad) is christened in red text with just the team name and includes 46 signatures (7-8/10) in green ink with standouts Steve Young Dexter Carter Bryant Young Ken Norton Jr. Brent Jones Gary Plummer and Lee Woodall. What an incredible trio of Super Bowl Champion team-signed footballs from one of the best dynasties in modern sports history.

From the collection of the late Dave Rahn the 49ers' Director of Operations for 16 years. Includes a LOA from his wife. Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

From 1986-2002 Dave Rahn served an integral role within the San Francisco 49ers organization. Starting as a public relations and media coordinator he soon took over as director of travel and team services where he was responsible for all football operations including travel and accommodations practice schedules lodging and meal planning. He later managed the concert tours for Fleetwood Mac Sheryl Crow and Lionel Richie. In 2014 Dave Rahn passed away after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer. "He was like a wheel and all these spokes from those years came from him" said his close friend former linebacker Gary Plummer. "He kept the 49ers family from those times together." His collection includes dozens of 49ers game-worn and autographed items gifted by the many players and staff members who were loyal friends to Dave and will forever remain close to his loving family.
