Tony Kubek autographed Adirondack Professional Signature model 114A bat game used by the New York Yankee shortstop in the July 11 1961 in San Francisco. Kubek has signed on the barrel in 8-9/10 blue felt tip pen. Kubek was the starting shortstop in the first All-Star game for 1961 and was named as a reserve in the 2nd but did not play. "1961 All Stars" stamped into barrel. "114A' stamped into top of knob. Standard ash finish bat is 35 inches long and weighs 31.2 ounces. Bat labeling period is 1961. Uncracked bat displays excellent game use with many ball marks and ball stitch impressions with a blue bat rack streak visible on the handle and knob. There is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. This is one of 2 bats made for Kubek to use in the 1961 All-Star games played July 11 1961 in San Francisco and July 31 at Fenway Park in Boston. Great looking game used bat!
