Circa 1920's scrapbook belonging to Washington Senator Tom Taylor filled with newspaper articles photos schedules and other things relating to his career. About half the photos feature family type photos with the other 36 showing ball players in uniform most appear to be Washington Senators. The vast majority of material seems to deal with the season of 1924 when Taylor splits the season between the Southern Association Memphis Chicks and the American League Pennant winning Washington Senators. Some highlights:

1) 36 photos of players in uniform. Most appear to be wearing the uniform of the Washington Senators. Since Taylor was only with the Senators during the Pennant winning year of 1924 all would probably be from that season.

2) From the Office of the Commissioner - Rules and Regulations for the 1924 World Series including Schedule Time Of Games List of Eligible Players Business Representatives Umpires Official Scorers Official Ball Staff Photographers General Conduct of the Game Prices of Admission Sale and Distribution of Tickets Settlements Guarantee Rights of the Clubs Notice to Clubs and Players Press Tickets and World Series Rules.

3) 10/1/24 Invitational to the Walter Johnson Testimonial Dinner at the New Willard Hotel.

4) Telegrams from friends wishing him well in the 1924 World Series as well as one telling him "can use you in men's furnishing department immediately when you get through".

5) 1951 score card between the Houston Buffalos and Shreveport Sports signed in pencil by 5 Buffalos- Bill Steiner Les Fusselman Jerry Witte Mgr. Al Hollingsworth and Larry Miggins. Indie is the notation "this is when I went to second Sept. 8 1951".

6) 10/24/33 very racy letter from 3 "Baseball Annies" to Tom Taylor. Interesting to read.
