Three pieces of original newspaper artwork from Phil Bissell are offered in this lot. Each piece references the Cincinnati Royals. 15" by 8" piece references the 7th game of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Celtics and Royals. 13" by 15" piece pictures a frustrated Red and wiped out Celtics Leprechaun after a loss to the Royals. 16" by 12-1/2" piece pictures the Celtics Leprechaun swinging for victory #62 against the Royals in the season finale.
Pieces range from VG-EX to EXMT and have some areas of light staining here and there. Light wear to the edges and corners. Perfect for framing and display!
Includes letter of provenance from the Red Auerbach estate.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
