This is an extremely attractive game-worn shirt from Steve Matz yet another fireballing Mets moundsman in the tradition dating back to Nolan Ryan Tom Seaver and Dwight Gooden. This road jersey was worn by the 25-year-old Matz as he posted his first win of the 2016 campaign over the Braves in Atlanta. The gray mesh shirt has "New York" across the front in orange and blue tackle twill the same format used for his No. 32 front and back and his NOB above his number. The famed Mets circular patch in orange white and blue appears on the left shoulder and Majestic tagging (Size 46) appears on the front left tail and the MLB Authentic Serial Number tagging with bar code is concealed inside the button down portion on the bottom. The shirt is in simply outstanding condition seemingly as-issued and problem free showing game use that is further validated by the MLB Authentication document included with the lot and the bar code serial number affixed to the shirt.
