1979 Dodger of the Year trophy given to Steve Garvey by the Long Beach Independent Press-Telegram newspaper. 1979 was another stellar year for Garvey who played in all 162 games had 28 HR 110 RBI hit .315 with a .351 OBP and .497 SLG. On the back of base Garvey has signed in perfect 9-10/10 black felt tip pen "Steve Garvey 6". 10" tall silver plated cup sits upon a 9" by 9" wood base. Plate at front reads "Dodger of the Year Steve Garvey 1979 Presented by Independent Press-Telegram". Cup has tarnished but should clean up.
